Ever wanted to know what myths the MythBusters always wanted to do? How about which myths had results that surprised
the heck out of them? A while back, Slashdot had an open invitation for readers to submit questions for the Mythical
duo, and they recently supplied the answers.
I, for one, can't wait to see the episode where they test the vertical bullet myth they talk about! The MythBusters respond on Slashdot

I was surprised that they skipped what I thought was a popular question (it certainly is here at work among the geeks) - do you prefer to bust or confirm a myth? The show often seems like they go out of their way to not admit that a myth is confirmed, saying things like "Welllll, even though it worked, technically we used materials that they could not have had reasonable access to...." or, the reverse, "We could not do it, therefore it's impossible for it to have ever been done. Busted."

This interview is kind of like seeing your teacher at the store, or a restaurant. I like the show, when it seems like a couple of guys who are doing these things as an excuse to blow thngs up, or throw things off a roof. Come to find out they are really science teachers and want to encourage academic scientific pursuits, sdomehow cheapens the abuse of buster

I never would have guessed that Jamie was anti-Tivo. But according to this interview, he says that devices that let you skip commercials are going to put him out of business.
Been to one too many MPAA seminars or something?
