Arrested Development got snubbed this year! I can't believe that Charlie Sheen got nominated.. but no Jason Bateman. No way.

Good to see Lost and Rome up there, but no Battlestar Galactica?
And WTF is with ALL of the women of that dumb show Desperate Housewives being nominated?

All four of the Desperate Housewives? Isn't it time for the backlash to begin on that crappy show? For me, Best Actress, Comedy should be a slam dunk for Jaime Pressly. Joy is the funniest female character on my TV right now due in large part to Jaime's performance. I would also put Sarah Chalke, Elliot from Scrubs ahead of all the housewives.

Nicollete Sheridan must be feeling very bad about herself right now.

What?! No Veronica Mars or Arrested Development?! Did the Golden Globe-ies continuously run into a wall before making these nominations?!

CBS is getting that sick feeling in the gut right about now. If there were a TV Olympics, I guess Charlie Sheen would have to carry the CBS flag.
I guess "Without a Trace" and the "CSI" siblings will be staying home this year.
Yay for Steve Carrell, but I wish the unbelievably funny Rainn Wilson (Dwight on the show) had been nominated for Supporting Actor.
I was glad -- but surprised -- to see Wentworth Miller's name.

Desperate Housewives is not a comedy, even though there are humorous elements. There are many shows in the history of TV like this Northern Exposure, Picket Fences. I dont watch Desperate Housewives, while I am sure that it is a fine show that deserves a golden globe, it doesn't deserve one for best comedy.

I am really getting tired of Desperate Housewives. I was so glad to see Sex and the City gone, since seeing 3 or 4 of them listed in the same category year after year, awards show after awards show, was so boring. Then they give us this crap. I honestly think there should be some kind of limitation on how many times a show can be nominated. Maybe a show can only be nominated under each category no more than once.
For that best actress in a comedy nomination, leaving one person out is kind of embarrassing. Sure, they will all say how they are so happy for the winner, but really, that has to be a bit embarrassing.
It seems that awards shows are just another way to increase the hype of a show.

Why is Desperate Housewives always in the comedy category? It's a dramatic soap opera with humorous elements, certainly not the kind of comedy you see in the other shows. As for backlash, I give this show maybe two or three more years before people starting tuning out. One thing that helps the show is that it has little real competition on Sunday evenings.
I was glad to see Grey's Anatomy nominated, a very deserving show and one that will some day outshine its lead in. Too bad Isaiah Washington or Chandra Wilson weren’t nominated – they are both more deserving than Patrick Dempsey – but at least Sandra Oh got a nod. I guess we can all be thankful entire cast of Will & Grace wasn't nominated again – Happy Holidays, indeed.

Wow! Veronica Mars and Kristen Bell were robbed last year, and all they get this year is a big, fat snub. What are the people at the Golden Globes thinking? This has to be the worst list of nominees ever; no Arrested Development, all four of those damn Housewives nominated, and Charlie Sheen for Best Actor in a Comedy. I think the Hollywood Foreign Press got too caught up in their own hype machine this year.

Man, they really have a hard-on for Desperate Housewives. Personally, I've never watched the show (and probably never will). Is it that funny that all four actresses get nominated for golden globes over such deserving candidates as Jaime Pressly from My Name is Earl and... umm... Jaime Pressly from My Name is Earl?
Seriously though, is Deparate Housewives really a comedy? Doesn't someone die like every week? If Desperate is a comedy, how about Grey's and Gilmore and House and the women from those shows? I don't like this one bit. Not at all.

How can Arrested Development not be up there? I had to reread the list twice before letting this sink in. I mean, Weeds? Really? Only Arrested Development, Battlestar Galactica, and Veronica Mars have consistently fantastic episodes. Good to see they all got snubbed.
