Short-Lived Shows: Nowhere Man

Nowhere ManI think this may have been the first show that I truly got into and could say I was a fan of. UPN carried it back in 1995 and it ran for a full season, but didn't get renewed after that. Nowhere Man starred Bruce Greenwood as Tom Veil, a photojournalist who took a picture he shouldn't have taken. As a result, his life is erased. His wife doesn't recognize him, his funds have been depleted, and people want him dead. Unless he coughs up the negative for the photo causing all the uproar.

But Tom wants none of that, so he goes on a quest to find out what the significance of the picture is and along the way conspiracy theories abound. The premise is simple but the show was excellent. The master plan to erase Tom Veil definitely got cut short, but at least the full series is being released on DVD later this month. Anyone else remember how great Bruce was in this show? I mean look at the picture... angry, paranoid. Must have something to do with that haircut.
