I Want Media readers have chosen CNN anchor Anderson Cooper as his Media Person of the Year in a poll. Who did he beat out? Martha Stewart, Howard Stern, Craig Newmark, Nick Denton, Steve Jobs, and several others.
No one at TV Squad was even nominated. I'm sure that's just some technical glitch.

Keeping Them Honest said...
Anderson Cooper's post-Katrina coverage in his "Keeping Them Honest" segments inspired a group of people to start a letter writing campaign asking elected officials to stop talking the talk and to start walking the walk. Say what you will about Cooper and his near-Hollywood type persona, he does seem to have an impact on his viewers. I'm glad that his work inspired these people to put their site together because that inspired me to get involved in something that I think we should all care about ... other people.
