Whoo-hoo! New season of Project Runway starts this week (December 7 at 10 PM EST)! As a huge fan of last season, I'm extremely excited to see more. Seriously, if you're sick of today's classless reality TV, look no further. Project Runway is driven by creativity and talent and the outcomes are often unpredictable (I screamed my head off when Wendy Pepper made it into the top three last season...that came out of nowhere). Anyway, MySpace.com (also known as the epidemic plaguing teenagers all across the land) has a special 10-minute preview of the two-hour season premiere for all to see. The quality is really crappy, but a true Project Runway fan would sit through it anyway... But if low-res makes you want to gouge your eyes out, I'll do you a favor...
All across the country, designers came to the Runway auditions, bringing portfolio pieces. Some of them were, um, a little eccentric and others were right on the money (seems like a lot of people liked making corsets for some reason). Some contestants from last season paid a visit by filling in as judge at different auditions (Austin Scarlett still looks like a doll). 16 semi-finalists (including Daniel from Season 1) were chosen and were sent 6 yards of muslin and $20 to create an original design that reflected their fashion designing style. A few months passed and everyone went to New York to start the show (sidenote: Heidi Klum had her baby belly but still looked amazing... It's not fair). Klum announced they will have a runway show in two hours to show off their designs because before the day ends, two people will be eliminated. So, panic ensued as the designers tried to get their new models fitted into the outfits while supervising hair/make-up as well.
There are too many people right now for me to be able to pick a favorite (plus, the preview quality is too poor to make out any details in the designs). One thing's for sure, though: there are a lot of flamboyant personalities. Last year, it was pretty much just Jay and Austin, but this time around... whoo. Project Runway never fails to deliver so I'll definitely be tuning in.
Watch the crappy quality 10-minute preview or watch a higher quality 3-minute one...

What, nobody cares?
I can't wait for the new season to start, and I couldn't care less about clothes. Best reality show on television.

I dislike the music and the contestants are too hostile.
Season 1 was much more better as was the music!
All I want to know is, "Who will become the next project runway designer?"
