Dr. Phil is having a little legal trouble over that whole weight loss campaign that has been discontinued. Remember that? It was called Shape Up! with Dr. Phil and it required people to take 22 pills A DAY, costing a whopping $150 a month. It turns out that Dr. Phil is not a medical doctor. He pitched the pills anyway, claiming they would help people change the way they behave, and therefore be able to lose weight. At least three people bought into his crap, and when they didn't see any results, they sued. Now their lawyer has Dr. Phil's e-mails, where he admits he has "no expertise" in recommending these pills for weight loss. The pills (and shakes and nutrition bars) were pulled off the market last month when the feds threatened to investigate false-advertising claims. I'd say there's a class action lawsuit in Dr. Phil's future.Dr. Phil isn't that kind of doctor

On the 'Keith and the Girl' podcast, Keith summed it up quite nicely. Who in their right mind accepts diet advice from a fat person?

That's just the tip of the iceberg. There has got to be some major ethical isues involved with airing people's pshiatric problems on national TV while dishing out snippits of advice conveniently fit in between commercial breaks and selling his latest bubblegum pop self help book.

I didn't need another reason to hate Dr. Phil, but I don't mind having one. Thanks!

Being the fat f*ck he is, how would anyone think that Phil's weight loss plan would work? He deserves to have his fat ass sued.
