Thursday's are shaping up to be "must see TV" again - and on more than one station. ABC announced today that new episodes of Dancing with the Stars will no longer run for 60 minutes on Thursday nights. Instead they'll run for 90. Folks at NBC can't be too pleased about this as they announced earlier this week that The Office and My Name is Earl will both be making the move to Thursday as well. Stars, which now runs from 8:00 to 9:30, competes directly with the hit Jason Lee sitcom, slated to air at 9:00. ABC is expected to announce the celebrity participants within the next few weeks.

They already attempt to stretch out the show enough as it is, we don't need more commercial breaks, and boring, unfunny host banter with each other and the contestants. I have a feeling that people are only going to watch the first and last couple of minutes, then it will sink into oblivion
