Cartoons as real people

There was just something about the scene above from this week's
South
Park that made me bust a gut. To see what the four cartoon kids might look like in real life is both hysterical
and surreal. I remember seeing an image one artist did of what Homer Simpson might look like as a
real person [originally via
Digg], which was actually more disturbing than funny.
There was also a
Simpsons episode that showed what Bart, Lisa and Maggie might look like with pink skin and
five fingered hands. Have there been any other examples of animated shows doing this sort of thing?

family guy. peter talked about doing drugs and how things "got way too real". it showed a guy in a peter mask sitting on a bench. not quite the same as the homer and southpark thing, but close.

The fat one in the middle kind of looks like Dakota Fanning.

Are stan and kyle meant to look like trey and matt? Since they're based on their real lives so much I think they based this picture on what they looked like at age 8.

There was the simpsons halloween special with Homer in 3D. The show ended with Homer in "real life" which he described as "this is the worst one yet" although he did enjoy the erotic cake store.
Also I remember a Harvey Birdman skit that had a guy in a Birdman costume complete with wings and a business suit.

Let's not forget about Harvey Birdman! One episode in the first run showed him running down the beach, and they've also done a live-action intro to the show. And frankly, I want that Birdman suit. Best halloween costume ever.

Jasonrocksout: "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast" used live-action footage of someone dressed as the titular hero well before "Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law" ever did it. (I'm a stickler for the long titles of both shows. I also like using the word "titular.")

An episode of Spongebob had everybody running up on to the beach. Once above water, they were real objects on puppet sticks. Spongebob was a yellow kitchen sponge. Patrick was a dried starfish. Mr. Krabs was a red plastic crab. Sandy was a stuffed squirrel with an astronaut's glass helmet. Squidward was this grotesque clay creation.
There have been a couple of other episodes where they show spongebob in "real life" as a kitchen sponge.

Hey Elf, the Space Ghost in real life you are speaking of is actually the shows exec. producer (and voice of Brak and Lokar) Andy Merril
In fact, early seasons of the show Andy would be dressed in the suit off screen interacting with the interviewees so they would get the fact they were being intereviewed by Space Ghost.

Reminds me of this amusing hoax: http://www.snopes.com/photos/people/griffin.asp
And along the same lines in a slightly morbid way is this artist's renditions of 22 cartoon characters and what their skeletal system would look like: http://michaelpaulus.com/gallery/character-Skeletons

What do THE GODFATHER 3 and Drawn Together have in Common??
aanswer: They should have never been made.
Gee, Let's rip off some existing cartoon characters, throw them in a house to rip off some existing reality TV shows, and then have unorignal, redudant humor take over the show for the next 22 minutes.. Whoever thought this one is a real Genius!!
