Al Sharpton, you'll remember, ran for president last year, and it was such a success that he's now in talks to star in his very own sitcom. To be called – wait for it – Al in the Family, the CBS sitcom would allow Al to "play off his larger-than-life personality" every week. Sharpton's television credits include guest stints on Boston Public and My Wife and Kids; he also hosted a reality show called – no, seriously, this one is worth waiting for – I Hate My Job. All of this begs the question: Which former presidential candidate are *you* dying to see "play off [their] larger-than-life personality" on the small screen? John Kerry? Michael Dukakis? Paul Tsongas? The mind reels. Al Sharpton hammers final nail in the coffin of his political career

Wait, that wasn't George Bush playing himself in "That's My Bush"?

Obviously Ross Perot doing just about anything. Point a camera at the little Texan and comedy ensues. He would have been great in Showtime's Beggars and Choosers. I could have seen him playing himself as the new owner of LGT after EL died. And while I am thinking of that, how about a Short-Lived Shows on Beggars and Choosers? Or was I the only one that watched it? :D

I would have to say Lyndon Larouche. That nutball has to be a writers wet dream. The script would practically write itself.

Saying Al Sharpton had a political "career" might be stretching the definition of "career."
