This show seems to be along the lines of Prison Break this season on FOX. Kidnapped is about a wealthy New York family whose 15-year-old son is taken. It sounds like a one-season-only deal, if you ask me. Mykelti Williamson (known to millions as Bubba from Forrest Gump) just signed on to be one of the stars in the show. Delroy Lindo (from Get Shorty) and Linus Roache (from Batman Begins) are in negotiations. So far, there's no listing for the show in IMDB and the news articles aren't saying which part Williamson will play. The father? The investigator? Wouldn't it be nice to see a wealthy, African American family featured prominently in a series? Of course, he would also do a wonderful job as the lead investigator, which seems more likely since the show is a suspenseful drama about the search for the kid. Filming begins soon, so maybe that means we'll see him in action early next year?
