Lots of people think Al Roker's got the best job on television. Well, before that whole hurricane mishap
earlier this year, that is. He loosely covers the weather, get to
travel to exotic locations that seem hand picked by himself, interviews
some of the coolest celebrities, attends incredible food festivals ...
the list goes on. So, NBC thinks people might like to see Al's life in
a different (or perhaps, more "realistic") light, so it has ordered a
script based on the Today show weatherman's life, tentatively titled Meet the Rokers. I can only imagine the show will make me envy his job more.[via Cynopsis]

He also has a hot wife (ABC's Deborah Roberts) who married him when he was still 300 pounds. Will that be part of the script?

God, just as long as he's not starring in it. Doesn't this show seem a little ethically challenged for a guy who works in TV news? A conflict of interest or something? I can't quite put my finger on it. I mean, I guess he's a weatherman, but I can't imagine that there ever would have been a "Meet the Cronkites."
