TiVo connects with iPod, PSP

ipodTiVo is testing new software that will allow Video iPod and PSP users to 'sync' their devices with their TiVos each day. The software includes a season pass to programs that you want downloaded on a regular basis and 'auto sync' capabilities. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you can hook your mobile video device directly into the TiVo. You have to hook it into your computer, which can be programmed to download the shows overnight and then transfer them to your Video iPod or PSP. Oh, and if you want to do all that, you'll have to buy the software, but there's no word yet on a price. This sounds promising for people who commute on public transporation (don't drive and do this!) or people who get to listen to their iPods at work. Your boss will never know that you're watching last night's Grey's Anatomy when he thinks you're just listening to music! I wonder what this will do to the number of paid downloads of Lost and Desperate Housewives off of iTunes?
