How's that for alliteration? People magazine has an article and some cute photos of American Idol runner-up Bo Bice, his new wife Caroline, and their son Aidan, who was born in September. What we learn about Bo in the article is that he doesn't get his pets spayed and neutered, he donated his old house in Alabama to a family that lost theirs in Hurricane Katrina (Oh my God, I love him!), he is on the new Santana CD, he considers his wife his soulmate, and he sings to his baby (I just melted). It also mentions his past drug use because that hasn't been beaten to death in other interviews or anything.Out of all the American Idol contestants I liked Bo the best. He actually has skills as a musician and had his own band where he (gasp!) wrote his own songs. What made him audition for American Idol? The People article doesn't cover that, but TV Squad's interview with Bo's bandmates from Sugarmoney did.

I'd like to send some comments about your Bo Bice (and Sugar Money) mention. Many Bo fans do think Bo should be working with a professional band (not just the boys from back home, no matter how much he cares about them). There is a group of fans who think that Bo should stay with the guys, but other Bo fans think Bo can be a big success and don't want anything but the best for him.

Bo's band SugarMoney will be appearing with Bo on his December TV appearances. It's not known yet whether this will be his touring band.
For anyone who has ever caught these guys playing together live, it is something really special. Do you think Clive and RCA would let them appear with Bo if they were not top-rate?
