Ask TV Squad: Safe MythBusters myths

myth busters adam jamieOK, so this question wasn't really meant to be asked to us, but I couldn't resist. I know I've been in this kid's shoes, late at night before a big project, cramming to get something put together, and fast. Probably because I was up too late catching my favorite shows. Who knows, maybe if I had the internet back then, I wouldn't have broken out so much from the stress.

Alix asked in a comment to one of our MythBusters posts:

I want to know if you know any of your myth's that can be proformed by two six graders and I need an answer quiqly plz help me and my friend out.

p.s. I know you get a lot of comments and I need this one answerd as soon as possible or I fail science.

Wow, Alix, it looks like you really typed that comment up in a hurry. You need help, and quiq. Here are a couple of easy myths the MythBusters themselves tried in previous shows:

"Does a clothed snowman melt slower than a naked one?"
-- The MythBusters found that yes, putting clothes on a snowman will make it melt slower. What will you find out?

"Does toast prefer to remain buttered side down when dropped by a person?" -- Ever notice that it seems that, when you drop a piece of buttered toast, it seems to want to fall with the buttered side flat on the dirty floor? The MythBusters busted this myth, but maybe it has different results depending on what you have on the toast instead of butter?

Good luck!
