This is just a reminder to all you Arrested Development fans that the show is back after its baseball-enforced hiatus tonight. Maybe to make up for its absence (or the fact that the FOX suits are not sure that Kitchen Confidential is going to continue), two episodes are airing, both featuring Oscar winner Charlize Theron in her role as Michael Bluth's love interest/British spy, Rita. Let's hope that FOX isn't burning out the episodes too soon, considering the show has been shut down while Jason Bateman recovers from throat surgery.
I have nothing else to say on this topic. Really, it was just an excuse to put up a picture of Charlize Theron, even in one of those silly hats she's wearing on AD.

Anyone really know why 2 eps at once? Usually Fox doesn't burn through episodes if it is going to cancel, they seem to be fine with just not showing them.
Fox hoping an hour long episode (my digitial cable and tv.yahoo.com show it as one episode rather than the 2 eps it really is) would bring in better ratings?

I honestly think FOX does not care about this show or its ratings. I think it's sad. I love it... but they NEVER promote it. Even with Charlize, you'd think it would get a little extra love. No dice.

MRF - Mentally Retarded Female - the weird hats was a give away!!
George Sr. in the scared straight booth was hilarious!
Tobias as the Mole, George Michael kicking his ass with the jet pack while the Mole was going godzilla on the model town was a crack.
Good stuff.

My wife and I have seen every episode so far and own the DVDs. We have seen alot of Arrested Development funny over the past 2+ years. That being said, the Mole/Godzilla scene with Tiny Town was just priceless. I do not download media because I really like having an actual high quality set of something, but I may try to find this episode, just to have until the Season 3 set comes out. That was priceless.

This is just the best show ever!!!! This show is so funny and I don't understand why people think I am snob for saying that....it's funny to watch a grown man in a mole suit destroy a tiny town, because the CIA asked to 'play the part of a mole.'
The surrogate, the star of chocolate, George Sr. running through the walls screaming, the pagent, GOB putting the bike part in Michael's bed...those are just a small list of the funny in this show.
I don't know why people wouldn't want to watch this show.

Funny... but since Charlize is South African, the quote's a little misplaced, no? Maybe she was referring to Dave Thomas, who plays her "uncle". Then again, he's Canadian, so I'm not sure if that works either... jeez, all of a sudden my head hurts.

For some reason, the "Pretty Woman" gag was what had me laughing so hard, I had to rewind the TiVo.

Even though I liked that scene better when it starred Bobcat Goldthwait, mole vs. jetpack was one of the best scenes so far this season. Actually, the training video for the jetpack was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I'm also glad we are getting close to the end of the "nobody realizes she is retarded" storyline (I hope!).

The surrogate is played by Bob Einstein, probably best known as Super Dave Osbourne. He had a comedy series on Showtime and made frequent appearances on the old Late Night with David Letterman. He also has a recurring role on Curb Your Enthusiasm as Larry's friend Marty.
