It looks like the talk show Tyra has officially run out of ideas. Only two months since her show's premiere, Tyra Banks and her producers have decided to play the "put supermodel in a fat suit to see how horrible the world is" card for the November 7 episode. After donning a suit that made her look 350 pounds, Tyra was horrified at how she was being treated by the general public. "I started walking down the street and within ten seconds, a trio of people looked at me, snickered, looked me right in my eye and started pointing and laughing in my face," she told AP Radio. Of course, for all we know it could have been a bad job of making her fat look real, but we won't know that until Monday.Look, Tyra's trying to be sympathetic, examining what most people think is the last acceptable form of discrimination. But after Gwyneth Paltrow in Shallow Hal, and Melania in the first Average Joe, haven't we had just about enough of the "hot chick in the fat suit" device? It's starting to get a little condescending; after all, they can always take off the suit if it gets to be too much. I'd rather see a real obese person make a movie about how they get treated by society than one of these sideshows.

I saw a preview wherein Tyra dressed up as Paris Hilton for Halloween, and that was freaky enough. Plus, I read an article about how's she's finally "given into her natural shape," and understands that what is expected of her in the modeling world is not healthy for her in real life. Good for her for seeing herself as "beautiful even with a few extra pounds," but she's still friggin' gorgeous.
And lo, equal time for men: Ryan Reynolds in a fat suit for his new movie: http://www.justfriendsmovie.com/

Tyra is just a pretty face, if even that. I would say she has an easy 3 seasons where she cover hair loss for men and women...considering she's got a
hairline comparable to Woody Allen.
This is what gets me. She talks like a 12 year old, has no depth, talks like trash, and thinks that she's going to be the next Oprah. Oprah has class, content, and a "brain". Tyra...think again.
Now that the modeling is over, maybe you should consider designing runways.
