I laughed when I saw the Magnum costume in Target because five years ago I made my own Magnum costume for my husband for a Halloween Party (we had to come dressed as a TV character). It was pretty simple -- Detroit Tigers hat, Hawaiian shirt, shorty shorts, and a gun (of course). My husband already had facial hair, so I just drew on really dark pointed eyebrows and he looked great.
