Al Roker was down in Florida today doing a live segment for Today on hurricane Wilma's landfall, when he was knocked down by the wind. A Today crewmember was actually holding Roker's ankles too, trying to help stabilize him, but it was too much to bear, and the big teddy bear of a man was taken down. He was actually making a joke about having some of his old weight back when it happened. This has not been a good week for newscasters and weather. Sure, now his heart isn't in trouble anymore, and his pants don't have to be specially made. Is that all really worth it when mother nature can just up and make you her bitch?
