Fun [Adult Swim] Fact: Did you know Dr. Girlfriend on Venture Bros. is played by a man? Shocking, I know. That deep, gruff, New England accent is voiced by a guy named Doc Hammer (he's also one-half of the show's writing team, alongside creator Jackson Publick). Okay, so you maybe you already knew that Dr. Girlfriend is voiced by a man, but did you know that the man is also a painter? An outrageously amazing painter, at that. If you have an appreciation for fine oil paintings and Venture Bros., or just want to see what the guy looks like, I suggest you check out Hammer's art (there are also some fun Venture goodies in his DeviantArt scraps and he occasionally talks about the show's upcoming season in the journal and comments). Breathtaking, no?
