There are Lost theories, and then there are theories that are just plain lost on me. I just cannot even begin to fathom what it took to come up with this formula, nor do I know exactly what it might mean, but I can't deny that it's one hell of an interesting observation. In this forum thread, some Lost fans noticed an oddly placed constellation in one of last season's episodes, titled "Special". By ordering the numbers 1-42 in rows of six, from top to bottom, then marking off the numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42 ... oh God, I memorized them), they look eerily familiar. Want more on constellations and Lost? How about that the Swan and the Arrow are associated with Apollo (Apollo bars, anyone)?[Thanks, Dr.FB]

All you need to know about figuring out LOST is this: It's a recycling of an old (the 60's version) OUTER LIMITS episode titled A FEASIBILITY STUDY. The whole premise is right there. THE OUTER LIMITS and THE TWILIGHT ZONE are gold mines for screenwriters. James Cameron got his idea for THE TERMINATOR from a couple of old OL episodes by Harlan Ellison, DEMON WITH A GLASS HAND and SOLDIER. M. Night Shyamalan has gotten the seed of his last four films from episodes of the old TWILIGHT ZONE. There are no original ideas, someone has said; just plagiarism from obscure sources . . . look up A FEASIBILITY STUDY and see what you think.

jeezus... give it up... the world's supply of tinfoil is being depleated with all of these types of speculation.. cant it all just be a TV show? (honestly, if this much thought has actually gone into some of the types of speculation being attributed to the show, i will eat my (own tinfoil) hat...)
