Wow, this story talks about what the official cause of death is for ex-Saturday Night Live cast member Charles Rocket, and I hadn't even heard that the guy had died. His body was found in a field in Canterbury, CT on October 7, and the coroner has listed the death as a suicide.
Rocket was on the show in 1980 to 81, and is known for being fired after using the word f**k on air live during his anchoring of Weekend Update. He also played Bruce Wills' brother on Moonlighting, co-starred with John Goodman in Normal, Ohio last season, and guested on a ton of show, from Law and Order and The Pretender to Lois and Clark and Touched By An Angel. He was in a short-lived show I know I'll be writing about soon, Home Court, which I rather enjoyed, and on the big screen he was in Dumb and Dumber and Dances With Wolves.

He'll always be the evil Ned Grossberg of Network 66 to me. What a shame.

Charlie was one of the nicest, most sincere people I ever met. Just last month he emailed me about how nice his life in Connecticut was. I don't get it. Many, many people will miss Charlie. My thoughts are with Beth.

Ned Grossberg was one of the greatest characters on TV. Ever. A deliciously evil TV executive. He was great.

I would change the article, I remember his useage of f*ck quite vividly since I remember seeing it back in 1981-Charlene Tilton the guest host at the time asked Charlie who was still in his "CR" character as the cast was ending the show and waving goodnight asked him how he felt after being shot and he said "Man this is the first time I've ever been shot in my life, I"d like to know who the f*ck did it." then there was alot of nervous laughter while Charlie smiled and smoked his cigarette in his wheelchair. It most certainly was not during his Weekend Update.
