It looks like the Dharma logo on the plane reckage. That's from all the way back in episode 3! (Tabula Rasa). Check it for yourself if you have the DVD or the download. It's very near the end after Walt gets his dog back.

There are pics of them moving the plane in peices from LA to Hawaii - those octagon marks are there as well.

This is all pretty cool, it also reminds me that Lost is pretty much worthless on the new iPod. If anything it should be on WMV HD so we could really dig in.

Well being that it's a dream, then it doesn't matter that it doesn't make sense that Walt shouldn't be considered missing from "regular society".

His step-father contacted Michael to come pick him up after his mother died, then the plane disappeared. I don't think disappearing planes would qualify as a reason to put a child's pic on a milk carton, and the missing kids folks would have no way of knowing about the 'Others' kidnapping Walt.

The producers are just toying with the online clue-seekers like they did with Jin speaking English.

Interesting about the pic on the carton, sure it was just a dream, but...

My pet theory says the characters will ignore the now-empty pantry for a few episodes, and when somebody finally goes back in for some reason, they'll find it completely re-stocked, with no signs of who did it.

I mean, think about it. First, the pantry looked completely full. Second, Desmond and a companion had been there, in the bunker, for years. Finally, Hurley said there was only enough food to feed one man for 3 months.

Put them all together and it sure seems like somebody must have been keeping the pantry filled.

I've seen a lot of people discussing Walt's picture on the milk carton, but no one seems to wonder how the heck there would be drinkable milk there in the first place. I guess it doesn't really matter since it's a dream, but if Hurley's dreaming of food in the room filled with food, you'd think he'd be dreaming about stuff that was actually there.
