I just stumbled across some pictures of the new The Colbert Report set (careful, they're super big) and, I must say, it looks quite nice. The Daily Show set looks bland in comparison to these bright colors (and marquee! Colbert gets a marquee!). On the left-hand side of the set, it kind of looks like some sort of child's playroom... There are model cars, a piggy bank, and a toy sailboat, I can see. I wonder what all that's about. For some reason, I half-expected to spot the God Machine among the shelves (although, word on the Internet is that the God Machine will stay back at TDS, probably under the care of Rob Corddry).Mr. Colbert and his arched eyebrow don't look too shabby either. The Colbert Report debuts after The Daily Show on Monday.
