Ricki Lake, the woman who was once described as the "white Oprah" may be coming back to television with a brand new talk show. Not much is known about the show yet, which is still being shopped around to different networks. Apparently Lake had plans for a show similar to The View, but that, thankfully, was scrapped. I think one insipid daytime yakfest is enough, thanks. The show will allegedly be geared toward an older demographic than her previous show, which ran for eleven years because, naturally, she's older now.
