Move over, Masturbating Bear, Bono's in town. On Thursday's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the entire show will be turned over to U2. This is the first time in the show's history that an episode was devoted entirely to a musical guest, but Conan is a huge U2 fan and so is the guy who books his musical guests. U2 has never even been on Conan before, and supposedly Conan personally spoke to Bono about doing the show when they made an appearance on Saturday Night Live last season. U2 is expected to play three songs and be interviewed by Conan, but it's unclear what songs they're gonna play. (Please play older ones, please play older ones.) This is a big week for Bono. Not only is he playing seven sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, but he's also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to fight poverty. Plus, he's one of the few people who can wear sunglasses indoors and not look like a douchebag. That in itself deserves an award of some sort.
