CBS might be bringing CSI to the Web in the form of eight-minute episodes which can be viewed either online or on mobile devices. Apparently the idea is just that, an idea, and no firm plans have been laid down just yet. Right now the plan, if it takes off, is to have the episodes work as shows in and of themselves, with no connection to plotlines from the TV series. Another idea was to use a series of still photographs for those with limited video capability on their cellphones. That, however, doesn't seem too exciting.
