Cable World has come with a list of the top 50 satellite-delivered television events of the last thirty years. If you look clear down toward the bottom of the list you'll see my favorite show of all time, Mystery Science Theater 3000 made the list. Those folks at Cable World know what they're talking about. Some other notables: Nicktoons, the animation block that gave Ren and Stimpy its start; Wrestlemania; coverage of the first Gulf War; The Daily Show; and Def Comedy Jam. Personally, I would not have included Sex and the City on the list, but then, they didn't ask me.
