There will be no television drama based on the Department of Homeland Security. In fact, there was never going to be one in the first place. It seems a Hollywood producer recently managed to scam over five million dollars from investors for a proposed series about the Department of Homeland Security, and even claimed Tom Ridge and GW himself gave the okay. Um, if you're going to scam people, don't mention the prez, cause it will probably come back to you eventually. Lesson learned, I guess. Needless to say, the producer, Joseph Medawar, is in hot water with the feds.
