So, Thursday's Big Brother 6 wasn't shown until 2:05am here in New York, and I forgot to set my ReplayTV to grab it. I missed the whole thing, although I am looking to grab a copy via bittorrent. In the meantime, since I haven't seen it and therefore cannot write up my normal review and recap, I'm turning to our loyal TV Squad readers: What did I miss? What happened? Please tell me in the comments.
My guess: James was evicted. Janelle won HoH. Am I right? No matter how it played out, I'm just glad that April is no longer at the helm.

The show started out with what seemed to be James trying to plead to Janelle for a vote along with Ivette for her and Beau's vote.
When the voting came around, James was evicted by 4-0.
For the HoH competition, it was simple, roll a bowling ball down a narrow path and should it fall over, you get the point value, if it reached the end you get 10pts. Rules were simple, first pit was 0, followed sequentially up to 6, then 0 again before the 10pt hole. All players had 2 bowling balls to roll and the player with the most points of the 2 totalling balls would win.
Beau was in the lead with 11pts (1x5,1x6) up until Howie (the last competitor) got 12 pts (2x6)

Also, this is a Double Eviction Week, which means that Howie had to nominate two people right away, live on TV. He nominated Ivette and Beau.

It was a great episode. To his credit, James fought to the end. He spent the week really working on Ivette and hoping Beau would come along to save him. He went the strategy route with Janelle by saying the two of them had a better chance winning HOH's and veto's than if it were her and Howie.
Alas, when the votes came in, James number came up and was unanimously voted out. James visit with Julie was one of the better couch visits as he explained his strategy and luck. He basically said,up till his eviction, that the others made bigger mistakes than he. He also gave credit to April for playing with strategy by backdooring him, because if she played with emotion, Howie would have been out. The houseguests had nothing but nice things to say to him on tape. He ended by saying that he would be friends on the outside with Ivette and Maggie, so it was good to see him seperate what went on in the house to what goes on outside.
As was said by the other poster, Howie finally won a competition and boy did he need it. Beau was in the lead and Janelle did poorly on her second turn. Since it was an immediate nomination he picked Ivette and Beau. I can just picture them kicking themselves for not voting out Howie and trying to convince Maggie to keep him.
Aprils husband was interviewed at their home and I have to say he had a pretty good sense of humor about what Howie said about his weight and dog, though he said he doesn't care for him over how he treated his wife.
The funniest thing, though had to be the sequester house. We were shown Jennifer saying how she couldn't wait to have company and said the person she would least like there was Rachel because she thought she was boring. Rachel came and was surprised by the warm welcome, but that seemed short lived. Rachel brought a tape of the show and as they were viewing it Jennifer said "wow it's just like it's a real tv show" to which Rachel gave a priceless befuddled espression. They commented on other parts of the tape where each would roll their eyes at what the other said so this should be an akward week for the both of them.
*Note to Big Brother. It's 2005. Enough with the video tapes. Start giving the evicted guests DVD's to bring to the sequester house.

I have a question for all BB6 fans:
How do CBS prevent winner of BB6 to share his prize with his/her teammates? I am afraid that one of the contestant from "The friendship" is going to win and share prize with all their teammates.

They can't stop someone from sharing money that they won fair and square. Hell, the contestant can blow it all in vegas in one night if he or she so chooses.

I think the Viewers should have the opportunity to vote someone off. I know who I would vote for.

Can't wait for the next Big Brother. Would like to see a couple more older people, just to keep the young stuff on their toes.
