Zombies crash American Idol auditions

15 college students in zombie makeup descended on American Idol auditions in Austin, TX, yesterday, chanting "Television rots your braaaaaaains!" as part of what the Daily Texan is characterizing as the "zombie renaissance" that is currently "sweeping the nation." The AI team was tipped off to the performance protest by an ad put out by organizers on Craig's List and, after what coordinating producer Patrick Lynn called a "24-hour zombie watch", they coralled all but one of the zombies into signing releases and appearing on the show. The Daily Texan has a whole gallery of photos tracking the zombies as they get made up, ooze onto the set, and eventually sign their lives away to Simon Fuller.
