Veto and Eviction #7 in the same week as eviction #6 and we already have another new Head of Household. Man, that was quick.I always feel sorry for the outgoing HoH in these situations, because s/he gets the short stay in the HoH room. I felt even more sorry for Janelle, as the entire "Friendship" continued to show their complete lack of good sportsmanship by refusing to visit her new HoH room for its unveiling. I mean, has that ever happened before? Would Cappy approve of this behavior? Maggie seems to think so, as she just sort of blinked when James pointed out to the whole group that nobody refuses visiting the HoH room. Sure, Howie and Janelle had been calling them "bitches" all week (although Rachel snapped at Howie and it seemed to lessen), but rise above, right? Isn't that the "Friendship" way?
No, the "Friendship" way is April and Jennifer hiding behind some chairs, whispering and justifying their plans to try to turn on Maggie and Ivette by convincing themselves that Maggie and Ivette were already turning on them. What evidence did they have? Ivette's hanging out with James. Yeah. Uh-huh.
More, along with all the juice after the jump...The veto competition was hockey-themed, and Janelle represented for her Minnesota roots by winning the veto. James tried to play both sides of the fence this week, and I'd say he did a pretty good job. He suggested that Janelle use the veto to pull Maggie off and put Ivette up, as this would ensure getting Jennifer out of the house, because his vote and Beau's vote would both go to keep Ivette in. Janelle suggested putting April up instead, but Rachel snapped at her and everything played out according to James's plan. Ivette went up and Jennifer went out with April's lone vote trying to keep her around.
Rachel and James are clearly running things on that side of the house right now (which is funny considering how James isn't even supposed to be part of that group anymore), while no one is really running things on the other.
Jennifer had a little chat with Julie Chen, where she continued to paint herself as a non-backstabber and a game-player, claiming that she knew she was going to be out this week, and that the choices she made last week were because she was sacrificing herself for her team. Well, then she's a fool. Why are these people in this game if they're not in it to win it? I mean, 3 months of your life GONE. Bye-bye. And Jennifer's special bonus: anyone in real life who saw her backstabbing behavior in the house might start having doubts about trusting her.
The HoH competition involved questions, so Howie was out pretty quickly. James and Beau were the last two standing for the tie-breaker, and Beau won, so we've flipped power back over to that group yet again. My guess for nominations next time: Janelle and Howie. What's your guess?

Yeah, I tend to agree that Janelle and Howie will be up this week. If Rachel gets the Veto to save howie then James will be up for sure. If Janelle gets the veto then Rachel/James (toss up really).
I personally would put Rachel/Janelle up as Howie isn't the brightest bulb in the group and clearly Janelle and Rachel are smarter and would play the game better.

I was so hoping Rachel would win head of household this week because there isn't ANYONE in the so called friendship group that I think deserves to win! And as for the whole James thing Ivette is a bitch she told Kayser group about him wanting to evict Rachel or Howie but nerver did say that when she returned to ask him if he still would do that if he won hoh, that he said no Maggie had to go!! Get the friendship group out of there please SOMEONE anyone,we can't stand to see Ivette Beau April or Maggie!!!

It appears that everyone is forgetting the Kasar put Eric up after he swore he woulden't. So it seems that both sides lied. wow... Who would guess that lies is part of thr game and that the goal is to win the money. Poor slut Janelle is to busy getting drunk and calling people names to play the game with any brains.

Actually I think James suggested to use the power of veto to put Ivette up and take Jennifer off. That way they could insure that Maggie would be the one evicted. Strategically that would have been the better move because Maggie was the only one keeping the two pairs on her team together. Without her they would be plotting against each other to protect their partners. It was also in James best interest because if Howies team ever wins another week they would have targeted Jennifer thus keeping him safe for a couple of more weeks.
Instead Janelle went the personal route and took out Jennifer.
"And as for the whole James thing Ivette is a bitch she told Kayser group about him wanting to evict Rachel or Howie"
I believe that was April who told Kaysar what James was planning. Not Ivette.
It's good to see James get his head out of his ass and start playing this game again. It came to a point where it was an advantage for him to throw the HoH, if that was what he did. It is too early for him to make a target of himself by nominating either group. Beau was the next best thing to Ivette winning it for James. There is no way that I can see, him nominating James and so far James and Ivette have each others backs as well as Beau.
Now that the "cappy" haze seems to have left her brain, Ivette is starting to play the game with her head instead of her emotions.

In the next few weeks keep a close eye on Beau...so far he does nothing except flaunt his homosexuality.this seems to be a good strategy...everyone seems to have forgotten that he is a serious player, and this will work to his advantage...i look for Beau to be in the final four...

Howie and Janelle are the logical choices I agree .. but you never know what can happen. I think this is the time the 2 teams break apart totally and we see more 3-4 person group alliance take control.
James has power over Ivette (Beau's partnet) and may want Maggie's head - finally. And don't forget Ivette doesn't trust Busto at all. Beau has stated previously that he likes Howie so it's hard to say what may happen.
It may also be in their best interest to actually keep a couple together. My theory being here is that if they break up Howie/Rachel that leaves only Beau and Ivette as the last remaining couple and an obvious target. So why not try and team up and go, Beau,Ivette,Howie,Rachael & James, to eliminate Maggie,April and Janelle, then fight it out at that point.
This year has sure been the year of the "flip-flop".
Now Chuck's points: "It appears that everyone is forgetting the Kasar put Eric up after he swore he woulden't. So it seems that both sides lied. wow..."
Well to be clear, he swore to not-nominate him, which he stuck to. He backdoored him. Jennifer promised to not nominate OR backdoor him or any of his team. James was 100% the target. But this is semantics, the point of the "Friendship" lying is that they preached all along that they were better than all of that. That's the point.
"Poor slut Janelle is to busy getting drunk and calling people names to play the game with any brains."
lol, you haven't seen much of the show I guess. She's playing the "slut" role, and in fact she's probably the smartest player left in the game. While the Jennifer ousting was personal, it also broke up a pair. Personally Maggie may have been the better move, but everybody has to be voted out sometime, and Jennifer deserved it - and I called it 100% :)

To be fair, Backdooring him is still nominating him. He made a promise to Eric that he would be safe from nomination during Kaysars first run at HoH after the agreement. Kaysar went back on him. He even said "I nominate you Eric" when James took him off, so that is clearly a broken promise.
I know the friendship as a group seemed to state the "we won't lie" thing, but I only really heard Maggie, April, Eric and Ivette say that. Jennifer was very quiet and laid low those first few weeks.
What people are losing site of is what the definition of a lie is. A lie is to knowingly tell an untruth. At the time Kaysar and Jennifer made their promises, they intended to hold them, as is evidenced by both their private diary room confessions immediately after. What they did do was break their promises.
To me this is when they were both playing their best. Kaysars move to nominate Eric and then telling Maggie he sealed not hers but her partners fate was one of the best strategic moves of the game. It's too bad he lost that edge when he came back.
So Far it seems that James is one of the only ones sticking to strategy. He only hit two mental farts that I have seen, one when he told Ivette that he was changing his mind and nominating Maggie and two when he let go of the buzzer. It seems he got his second wind back and is ready for the home stretch.

I think keeping Janell would be a big mistake for anyone who wants to win. She is outing on a big act and doing it well. I would like to see her put on the block this week.

I agree. Apparantly Howie's acting all dumb and goofy isn't an act. The guy can't win a contest involving a brain game to save his life. Janelle is very smart and it would be the better strategic move to evict her.
