If you're wanting to avoid spoilers, don't read too far in this post. I'll try to keep all the juicy parts after the jump, but it's going to be hard. The idiocy of last episode's HoH competition continued to be heavily felt in tonight's episode. The episode began with everyone reflecting upon how Jen broke her word by nominating both Rachel and Janelle, rather than two of her teammates as part of the effort to backdoor James into the hot seat. There was much lamenting by James on how cowardly the backdoor move was. There was much lamenting by Kaysar on how unfair and wrong it was for Jen to break her word and nominate two of his teammates. What both of these guys meant to say during the confessional talks with Big Brother when they lamented these things was quite simply: "I was an idiot. I shouldn't have let go of the button. I do not deserve to win this game."Check out after the jump for more...
The two respites from all the constant gaming of this episode were Howie modeling his black Speedos and the K-Mart branded co-birthday party for Kaysar and Maggie. They both received cards from their families. Maggie won a PSP and everyone, including Kaysar, was flipping out about it, although Maggie had no idea what it was. Then Kaysar opened his gift: a non-iPod 20GB MP3 player from Sony. He seemed very underwhelmed by it, but politely gave it a "I got a 20GB MP3 PLAYER!!!" shout that wasn't nearly as enthused as his "OH WOW!" at the sight of the PSP.
James with the help of Ivette campaigned against the backdoor switcheroo that would put him out of the house, but going into the veto competition, everyone seemed hell bent on that plan. No one was "gunning" for the veto, so much as eager to make sure that somebody won it. The contest involved throwing circles with the evicted Houseguest's visages on them onto a tiered platform. Each piece had to land on the week that the corresponding person was evicted. Rachel won and took herself off the block, but by the time the veto ceremony rolled around, there had been discussion of getting rid of Kaysar rather than James.
Jen stood up and said that she should evict James because he was dishonest, but that she should evict Kaysar because he himself admitted (way to keep your mouth shut Kaysar) that his team fell apart without him, and then she put Kaysar up instead of James. James literally looked like he was having a heart-attack at not hearing his name. He moved forward with a gasp like he was getting up and then the shock of being spared hit him like a ton of bricks and he just sat there dazed for the rest of the episode as Kaysar went up on the block staring with hatred at Jen for her breaking her word, when it was really his fault for letting go of the button. Welcome to the revolving door, Kaysar. Nobody wants somebody let back in to win.
Of course, there's every chance that Janelle could really piss everyone off before the vote and get the boot, but it is almost sure money that Kaysar is back out. What do you think?

The J in jennefer should stand for Judas.
When she leaves the house as a non winner everyone in America should boycott any and all promotion deals that she is offered. her name or person should be remembered in television history as the biggest liar traitor, no intregrity and no trustworthiness. How could anyone in the real world trust her ever when she can rationalize her wickedness.

Let's see what Judas .. uh, Jennifer taught us: That swearing on your life, honor, and integrity means nothing. This ranks as the WORST stab-in-the-back in reality TV, surpassing Survivor's Jonny Fairplay "my grandmother died" move. Why? Hey, I would have understood if she just put up two of Kaysar's teammates .. but NOOOOOooooo - she had to put up the man who - out of misguided trust - GAVE her HOH .. thus rewarding his trust by stabbing him in the back. Be ashamed, Jennifer ... Be very ashamed.

It is a fool who trust anybody in this game if you have a little power and the will to use it the more power to you Kayser was an idiot to let go of the botton as for not being true to thjere word there isn't an honest person in the house.

What Jennifer was a smart move, she may have gone back on her word, however that is the nature of this game. If Kayser had any brains, he would have not let go of the button.

Moves like last night make the game not fun for me, honestly. I like the idea of the two sides actually working together to get rid of a common enemy, and not having it screwed up by a junior member of the team who, let's face it, has no shot in hell of winning the thing anyway. It would have been only logical to put in a "You can't pick Kaysar the first week that he's brought back" clause into the rules.
Reminds me of the times when I've played chess with people who don't really understand the game, who eventually apply the strategy of "If I do something totally random and unexpected, then it will 'shake up the game' and maybe I'll win." That strategy never wins, it is just annoying in the long run.

what kills me the most is how jennifer keeps saying she "didn't lie", and what she did was perfectly fine, because "it's a game". hmmm...swearing on your life that you're going to do something, and then not doing it. yep. that sounds like a lie.
and it kills me that jennifer and her team still pull the ol' "the other team is evil" crap. why? because they may have been sneaky and lied? funny, that sounds exactly what the "good team" did.
i'd hate to see kaysar leave again...i just hope someone kicks jennifer off soon. or april.

I wanted Kaysar back in, and voted for him many times. But at this point, I don't really care anymore. After what Howie did last week, I have lost a lot of interest in the show. I still see that as the dumbest move ever. Jen did the right thing by playing the numbers game. Howie should have done the same thing; get rid of the other team before turning on the outcasts or your own team.
My one hope was that Kaysar would come back in, convince Howie and Rachel that they need to get James back on the team, and go after the friendsh-t. But, as that didn't happen, good riddance!
James, hopefully, will be able to lay low for a little while, and get down to the final four. Then people might start to see him as a player that they know they can beat in the final popularity vote. And hopefully there have been enough betrayals and back-stabbings that James will come out on top. James really reminds me of Will from the second season; never wins the HoH, and just barely hanging on each week.

...and what effect, exactly, do these 20,000+ people expect that this petition that the houseguests cannot see (or even know about) will have on their votes tomorrow?
Any game like this is a protracted (three months, for BB) case of dodgeball: if you want to win, sooner or later you have to throw the ball at all of your friends. In this strained metaphor, the ball was loose in the "Pressure Cooker" early Friday morning, and Jen essentially told Kaysar, "If you let me have the ball, I'll throw it at my own friends. I don't want anything else, all I want is to hold the ball and throw it." If Kaysar wasn't smart enough to figure out that he was gonna get a ball thrown at his butt, well, perhaps America Chose Poorly. (Disclaimer: I voted for Kaysar.)
Plus, if he had won the veto competition, he would have been safe, so he had two chances to use his own skill to make sure he stayed in the house through next week. I'm rather tired of seeing Janelle's diary entries about how everyone in the house but her, Michael, and Kaysar is just as dumb as a stump and not "quality" at all, so I'm not going to cry if Kaysar stays.
But cheez whiz, people, if you want to win the game you have to play it.

Early this week the wake-up music was "stupid Girl" by Garbage.
Jen flipped of the camera and said, "I know that's for me but I don't care."
Jenelle is trying her best to purposely piss everyone off, acting drunk and calling them all bitches and little beau-bo a gold-digger.

I think it was very smart of Jen to put up Kaysar...yeah it is wrong to go back on your word and stuff but it is just a game and do you really think Kaysar wouldnt have done the same thing? It serves him right for trusting her to begin with and for saying she has no courage to keep James in the house

You lost me as a viewer last night. No longer will I watch or encourage children to watch a show that so blatantly rewards dishonesty. What about a "secret" reward to a player (in or out), voted by viewers, who has played the game with the most honor, strategic smarts, stamina and loyalty? If you want to keep a family audience you'd better change the format.

Good lord. I can't believe people are whining over what Jennifer did. It's a game folks. Everyone who has ever won this game has broken a deal, lied or betrayed someone at one point or another. It's like hating someone for screwing them in a game of Monopoly. Just because you play a game one way, doesn't mean you are that type of person outside of it.
I was a fan of Kaysar, but let's face it, he was outplayed by her. She made the perfect strategic move. James has no side, so both teams could afford to keep him in a few weeks while they knock the strongest players off both teams.
By keeping James, the girls now have someone strong to win HoH on their side. I only trust James to look out for James. If he wins he would nominate Howie and Rachel instead of risking being backdoored by the girls the following week if he goes against them.

I've had a lot of fun watching Big Brother House, each season there are new people to meet, personalities to figure out, quirks to be amused by, game strategies to admire or snort at. It's been very entertaining... until last night, that is.
I know that 'it's all part of the game' and Im not so naive as to be shocked by broken oaths. But the double wammy of Jennifer's nominations AND her veto replacement with Kaysar... well... it's just not fun for me anymore. Jennifer's moves are dirty and nasty and this is not what I want to watch on TV. I don't want to see that kind of treachery rewarded. You've lost me as a viewer.

Yes, it's a "game" and they are trying to be the last person standing and win alot of money, but fair is fair. Kaysar came back into the house knowing nothing about what had gone on in his absence; it was an unfair disadvantage. He should have received a one week immunity card just like Amy did when she returned to her BB house. Jen was and is an underhanded, dishonest, loser. She has no strategy and just wants to be remembered. How can people remember someone we will no longer watch? Why did anyone waste their time with America's choice - it meant nothing because CBS did nothing to protect whomever came back in. Whether you like Kaysar or not, to leave (again) without even a one week grace period is beyond stupid. I'll watch something else.

I always hated that they brought someone back. To me if one is voted off, then they lost and that's it, but since it is in the rules fine. Kaysar had a whole week for his team to fill him in on everything, and they did. Not much had changed. It was still his team against Maggies with both of them eyeing James for eviction. Giving someone who is brought back, immunity, was always pretty lame IMO. It is giving them an unfair advantage. If they want to be safe they could win HoH or power of veto. Kaysar had two chances and blew it.
I'm not a fan of Maggies team, but Jen did right. She didn't do anything that any of the other competitors wouldn't. Even Kaysar went back on his promise to Eric on not putting him up after Eric rallied for him in week one, so for him to think less of Jennifer for doing what she did would be pretty hypocritical.
It's strategic moves like these that keep me interested in the game as opposed to the lame moves that made season one a snooze fest.

i do not understand the big fuss over kaysar being put up. kaysar was being a smart butt allowing jennifer to get hoh this week. kaysar really thought that jennifer did not have a brain in her head and was going to blindly follow what kaysar wanted jennifer to do and put up her people. American do your really believe if anyone of kaysars people would have won the power of v that they would have used it to save any of jennifers team members. i think not kaysar got out foxed by someone who kaysar thought was a weak link and had no brains

If I recall Ainsworth, Amy did not get "immunity" she had won HoH that week and therefore was safe. Let's not skew the facts. If Kayser wanted to be safe, he would have held his finger on that button.
