Alert West-Coasters Now, that that's out of the way: Kaysar has failed us. He promised to stir things up if he got back in. Instead, he proved that he doesn't deserve to be in the game, as did Maggie, James, and April. Anyone in a Head of Household competition with as much riding on the line as this week's competition who knowingly quits or gives up is a flat out fool. Everyone who accidentally let go of their button or accidentally kneeled or accidentally anything that gave them the boot aren't as weak as these four players who just quit for non-smart-about-the-game reasons. And Kaysar who gave up after hanging in for over 12 hours proved himself the biggest fool, as he made a deal with a liar, and as a result two of his strongest allies in the house are up on the block this week.

This episode started out where last time's left off: everyone except for Howie, the outgoing HoH, duking it out in an endurance HoH competition. Everyone was locked up in a clear cage with several boxes going around in a circle where they had to keep a button on the wall pressed. The first box, opened by Julie Chen on Thursday night, was full of flies. The second box, opened by Howie at the 6 hour mark when no one had yet been eliminated, was filled with a big dead smelly fish. Then Beau accidentally let his knee hit the ground and was the first out, but when he opened his box, he won a martini bar complete with liquor and proceeded to get trashed and annoy everyone else. He couldn't leave, because part of the rules stated that people could only leave in threes. Then Janelle, who was dancing (dumb move) accidentally let go of her button, but she won a year subscription to Netflix, a DVD player, and a 42-inch plasma T.V. for her trouble. Her and Beau began dancing and celebrating.
At this point in the game, April showed her true colors, wanting to leave, giving up, and lying to everyone that it was a mistake. She won $3K as a result and Janelle, Beau and her left the cage. Ivette messed up and put a second hand on the button box after the rules changed forbidding it, and broke into tears. Typical, not really cut out for this game, Ivette. But then, James decides to let go after getting daggers of hatred from Rachel when he asked her if he was safe. Why? Because he didn't want to be the type of man who was in it for revenge. What?! Sarah must have very intoxicating perfume, as her scarf which he was wearing around his neck to remind him to stay in it and win it to revenge her evidently warped his brain.
After James was out, Maggie got greedy, gave up, and tried to go for a prize, but after James won pizza all she got in the last box was a bunch of rotten eggs. Three others were out at this point, so they left and it was a stand off between Rachel, Kaysar, and Jennifer. Rachel screwed up and was out. Then it was just Kaysar and Jennifer and after they both lasted longer than half a day and after the sun had risen, Kaysar made the worst mistake. He made a deal with Jennifer that if he let her win, they would put up two people from her team and veto one of them off and backdoor James into the hot seat.
This entire competition segment of the game took up about two thirds of the show, as they kept interspersing moments in the competition with flashbacks from the house over the course of the last week, including all the girls of the house and Howie admiring Beau's "pee pee" in the shower, complete with April going back for a second look after screaming "WOW!" when she saw it. There was another entire flashback sequence with Jennifer trying to teach Rachel to dance. There were several more flashbacks, but let's get back to the nominations.
There's a lovely scene of April and Jennifer justifying Jennifer breaking her deal with Kaysar, by claiming that the other team talked about trying to get Ivette out last time rather than Sarah, when they put up Ivette knowing she was supposed to be safe. What was so mind-boggling about this scene was that Jennifer clearly believed that that was the case, when the whole "let's put Ivette up instead of me" and then "Maybe we should evict Ivette" plan was April's lying, backstabbing behavior. Unbelievable.
Anyway, Jennifer broke her word with a smile to Kaysar, admitting that she knew he was probably mad at her for breaking her promise after she nominated Rachel and Janelle. Supposedly the plan is to get James in via the backdoor (and he seems oblivious to this; so much for him being smart), but who knows what could happen. I just hope Kaysar doesn't make the same mistake he made before of showing his cards too early. He's clearly upset with Jennifer and the last thing he needs to do is to go up to her and say something foolish like, "You broke your word to me. If I win HoH next week, you're out of here." What do you guys think?

I really wanted Kaysar to come back because I thought he was the smartest of the three evicted house guests. Wow, was I ever wrong! But I truly can't blame him for his choice as he might have needed to say his daily prayers. Let's hope his prayers include wisdom to know the difference between friend and foe.

I am really surprised that Kaysar could be so dumb. As it stands his team has four and Maggie's has five. He needed to get rid of one of them to even things out.
Jennifer's team would be making a serious mistake trying to backdoor James when they have the opportunity to weaken Kaysar's side.
If they do get rid of James, they run the risk of losing HoH the following week and having one of their own booted and thus losing their advantage of numbers.
James was right that they don't seem to be playing strategically, though ironically, James wasn't playing strategically when he let go of the button.

Go fuck yourself. All we asked is that you don't put spoilers in the header itself for RSS reasons.

Tim: And you asked with such class and style! Tsk tsk. F-bomb directed in personal attack = one demerit. Does miss Manners have a T.V. show? Perhaps you should be watching that instead...
Here's a spoiler for you: if you go on a T.V.-related weblog during the 4 hour split between East and West coast, you're going to encounter a spoiler from time to time. It's the risk you take.
Why would I post such a headline? Is it because I want to intentionally ruin your clearly problematic life? No. The reason I posted this headline was because it was breaking T.V. news and it was a good headline. I won't do it for every post, but when there is reason for it, I will. I recommend that you set up groups in your RSS reader and put any T.V. related feeds in a separate folder so that you can look at your regular feeds and avoid these feeds during that 4 hour slant of time between the show you don't want spoilt and the West Coast showing of that show.
As an aside: I don't think announcing that Kaysar was the winner spoilt anything. We all knew he was going back in. He won by an overwhelming 82%.

Am I the only person that didn't see the show? It was preempted here by a football game, and I can't find out when its go to be shown here. There is nothing on the BB6 website or on DirecTV about when it will be shown. So I guess I should thank you for posting these spoilers. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what happened.

Usually if a baseball game is scheduled they air it several hours later at around 2AM, but that is when it's planned. If an earlier game runs into BB's scheduled time, it airs as soon as the game ends.
Were you at home waiting for it to come on after the game or did you record it and find out afterward that you recorded nothing but football? Either way it probably aired and you missed it.

If you were supposed to see it on KCBS, it was on KCAL instead.. I found it at the last minute. Since both are owned by Viacom, I would guess if it's going to be pre-empted again, that may be where it would go instead of being broadcast at a later time.

Nicely written analysis. Looks like we all overestimated Kaysar's abilities. Still, he's probably the brightest bulb in a conspicuously dim pack.
I wouldn't be surprised to see most of the remaining cast doing the weather report on local newscasts in a few years.

Let's not dump on Kayser just yet folks. Let's remember a few things, this competition started about 10 mins after he re-entered the house and then developed over the next 12 long hours. When he left the house Jennifer wasn't viewed as devious - or April for that matter, so to trust her at the time didn't seem so far fetched. The problem is he didn't realize how April and Jennifer are on thin ice with their own group, so they needed to appeaze their side with the noms.
I think they are still stupid enough to back door James and swing the advantage back to Kaysar's group -- although if James ever wakes up to the fact that he's better off siding with Kaysar rather than playing as a lone wolf. Ideally for him, Rachel leaves and he slips in with the other 3 and makes them a very strong 4.
I'd suggest to CBS that for next year's game to have ALL players always play in the Veto competition. This would eliminate the ability to backdoor anybody, and atleast give them a fighting chance to stay in the game. I'm not a fan of James, but I like it when the people want something and they don't get it.

To San Francisco Bay Area BB6 viewers, the episode scheduled to air on 8/20 will air on UPN Bay Area at 8pm instead of CBS 5.

I was really happy to have Kayser come back but he had to know that by letting his finger off the button that it would put one of his teammates at risk. I don't understand why he trusted the other team other than either being naive or wanted to be on the good side of the other team as well. I hate to see him leave but he put himself in that situation. As for Jennifer, I can't wait until someone does the same to her. Kayser - it was wonderful to have you back and hoped that you won it all but unfortunately it came to and end quicker than I thought - Best Wishes!
