You said "thanks once again" so you should know better than to read the blog if you haven't watched T.V. for the night yet. Suck it.

problem is, it automatically comes up in my rss newsreader.. so if it's in the headline, there's nothing i can do about it.
it's easy to create a generic headline without giving it away. i guess i could just delete my subscription.. but i don't want to do that.

It's easy to stop reading spoilers, too, and since the problem is yours, why not pick a solution that involves you, not the author?
Why would anyone on the west coast interested in reality shows be anywhere near their RSS reader with television feeds during the lost hours between east and west coast airings?
That'd be like TiVo'ing Six Feet Under for later viewing and still going to the water cooler on Monday. Someone's gonna tell ya Nate bit it before you watch.

Because I am interested in reading the other stories that I missed during the day.
There's one author. There are millions of people who read these postings.

There are millions of east coast viewers who have already seen the show and know the results too. Just as there are millions of people who would know better than to stay away from their newsread for fear of being spoiled. If I've got a baseball game on tape and don't want it spoiled I don't call USA Today and ask them not to print the score. I simply don't read the paper until after I've watched it. Seems remarkably simple, doesn't it?

You people are fucking pricks. All the guy is saying is that if you can leave the headline alone and make it something such as "Big Brother Recap" or something else generic, it'll make everyones lives a little easier, for those of us that have RSS Feeds loaded. No need to be so obnoxious. Jesus. Fucking relax already.

I think YOU need to relax Rick. Jason brought up an excellent point. If you haven't seen the results, stay away from any form of media that you know may give you those results until you see them for yourself.
When I Tivo the survivor finale, I make sure I stay away from my Newspapers entertainment section and CBS until I have seen the show. TV Squad is in the business of blogging television events and can choose to headline their articles as they see fit.
It isn't too difficult to stay away from your RSS feeds for a few hours until you see the show, especially when one of those feeds is from a blog that regulary updates a show you watch.

Rick and Kevin are absolutely right. Did you hear that story about that guy who killed himself when he found out the plot of the new Harry Potter book? The article was made up, so the fuck what? This is serious fucking business.
What's Kevin here supposed to do, lock himself in an airtight fucking can for the three hours leading up to the show? It's impossible to ignore something like an RSS feed unless you're a fucking robot. ARE YOU A FUCKING ROBOT? CAUSE I'M SURE AS FUCKING HELL NOT. Thank-you for your time.

Might I suggest that if you are in fear of reading spoiler headlines in T.V. related feeds such as ours, that you set up groups within your RSS reader program of choice and put all the feeds that might give away things in a folder called "Do not read until after 10PM".
