Okay, I think I have waited a sufficient amount of time since last night's eviction episode to post my review of the episode along an important plea without ruining the show for all you BB6 fans out there who had to TiVo or ReplayTV it. If you haven't watched the episode yet, or haven't checked for spoilers online before now, two things: First, I question your devotion to this show. Second, stop reading now if you don't want to know what happened last night (and pretend you didn't see the picture attached to this post), but go watch the show then come back here and read, because we all need your help with something.
I hereby declare this week Bring Back Kaysar Week here at TV Squad. Sure, it's a free country and you can vote however you like, but I really want Kaysar back in the house so that Cappy and his little squad of disciples will be totally and utterly eradicated from the house. Go here on CBS's site and cast your vote for Kaysar to return. Vote early and vote often. Polls close Wednesday, August 10th at 12PM PT. If by some awful twist of fate, Eric is the one that returns, I think I might just stop watching the show.
Now that that's out of the way, read on after the jump for my review of last night's episode...
Eviction night Julie Chen. *sigh* She talks so much and yet usually gives us so little. Not so in this episode. In this episode, she revealed that one of the evicted Houseguests would be returning, and thankfully, the HouseGuests don't get to make the decision. We do. It's an America's Choice! (Remember: Bring back Kaysar).
I have to stop here for a moment to applaud the Producers of the show. They clearly realize, as do the non-Cult of Eric Houseguests, that they have a tribe of sheep in the house who are all following their evicted shepherd Eric. There was a nice little montage section in last night's show, focusing upon the odd cultish behavior of Eric's followers and then interspersed with the sane people of the house commenting on how very odd Eric's team's behavior had become. In season three, they brought back a Houseguest, but it was via a competition and the choice of other Houseguests. I think that the Producers did well to put this choice in the viewer's hands, and to supply this little scene to help convince America that the followers of Eric are all sort of too sheepish to keep the show interesting should the other team disappear.
There was lots of build up to the actual eviction, but the audience already knew that whoever was evicted had every chance of coming back, so the eviction of Kaysar with only one vote for Janelle was softened quite a bit. Then in the HoH competition, Howie came through and proved how smart he actually is, despite his goofiness act, by buzzing in early, then pausing momentarily to realize that the question was phrased to trick, and then answering it correctly. He and Rachel were the last two standing and he pulled it off and won HoH. When they came back in the house, Julie broke the news to all the Houseguests that one of the evicted former Houseguests would be returning. Janelle looked like she wanted to reach through to the outside world and slap Ashlea in the face when she heard that she wasn't eligible to come back because she broke her confinement. After Julie finished explaining that the return was America's choice all the Eric-ites started yelling "VOTE FOR ERIC!" Everyone else exchanged looks of disgust and then began jumping up and down smiling and yelling, "Vote for Kaysar!" And then you heard Janelle whimper, "I want Michael to come back." The show ended with everyone in the house giggling and laughing, overly excited at the prospects of someone coming back in to the house.
I think that's pretty much it. If I left something out, mention it in the comments, and please go vote for Kaysar!

Cappy most likely is NOT coming back. Go look at the popularity polls on CBS.com.
Eric has dropped from a popularity rating of 67% to 38% the next week, 34% the week after that and 29% this week.
Meanwhile, Kaysar, through weeks 1-4, has gone 57, 72, 79 and now sits at 87% popularity.
I think most people are pretty sick of Eric's self-righteous condescending paternal bullshit. In addition, I think most people are also pretty sick of Ivette & The Gang's brainless worship of someone they knew for two weeks.

I was about to say that this show must be rigged if Kaysar escaped eviction, because the man couldn't be that lucky. Then again, is it a coincidence that he's voted out the week before this people's vote thing? That would make the show that much more dramatic that he gets voted out, then voted back in to send the other Cappy-sheep packing. Nice way to screw with my head, CBS. Damn, this gets better every week!

I don't know if I can keep watching the show if Eric comes back. "Lights out, bitches?" WTF?
I am a former firefighter, so I totally respect them, and his leadership and can do attitude would work wonders in the firehouse. I'd gladly follow him in.
But in the BB house? Dude, give it a rest. WWCD? What would Cappy do? Something stupid and get his ass evicted. Only ask WWCD so you can figure out the opposite and do that!

The best part of this whole thing would be Ivette and her "group". They think "Cappy" (and shoot me please for saying it) is so god-like and must also assume that everybody in America (or Canada ;) ) would feel the same way. She will think 100% that he will walk back through that door. I'll pay them a $1mil just to see her face when he doesn't come back through that door.
The irony of all this is of course if it was for Ivette, Eric would be most likely be favoured to return to the house.
On the episode note, no real surprise that Kaysar got kicked. I'm interested in knowing who had the 1 no-vote. The big winner this week I believe is James.
With everyones favorite host Julie Chan letting everyone know that a person is coming back after the vote, most likely the houseguests will assume it's Eric. Knowing this Howie will have to nominated 2 from the other side - most likely Ivette and Beau (remember his deal with Maggie to not nominate her). Normally James could be nominated after he -kind of - stabbed them in the back, but now they have more to think of.
If it's Eric: The power shift in the house is tight again.
If it's Kaysar: His team is WAY over the top as the favorite.
One possible angle is to get James out, and then you may have a possible team setup of Howie,Rachel,Jennifer,April,Maggie + either Kaysar or Eric. Ivette is the x-factor here as I'm not sure where she would fall. I think if Kaysar is brought back all will be forgiven with Maggie, as the deed would be considered completed.

If Eric/Cappy comes back I seriously don't think I'll be able to continue watching this season either. I cannot stand that man. I liked him at first, but then he became so egotistical, and his little followers.. it's just bad. I've loved Kaysar from the start, and realized just how smart he was when he shook up the house. Awesome stuff. You better believe I've been voting for Kaysar since the polls opened, and will continue voting until they close. He rocks!

I liked Eric at first, despite his "leader role" that could annoy a person after a while. What got me to dislike him was the crybaby attitude he got when people went against his plan. I mean James was on the block, and his "team" was not going to help him get off, so he had to save himself by using the power of veto.
Another thing about James, I don't know how much editing was being done on the show, but from what I saw, I don't think Kaysar gave him a fair shake. April tells Kaysar that James would put Howie and Rachel up if they saved him. Granted that was true, but Kaysar took her word for it without talking to James first. For all he knew she could have been lying through her teeth, but he beleived her at face value.
I think that James made that deal with every intention of breaking it. It was obvious that he was lying to Ivette to save himself from being evicted if he didnt win the veto. He didn't take the route of tearing down Kaysar, but rather promoted himself as an attractive ally in Ivettes naive mind. I mean it was only after the competition that he fessed up and said to her, stupidly I might add, that he really wants to get Maggie out of the house.
I just hope it gets out in the open and he explains what his intentions were to Howie before the nominations.

My conspiracy theory mind kicked in again when I read this last sentence from the America's Choice poll:
"All decisions by CBS regarding the vote and the results are final and not subject to challenge or appeal."
Does it really matter how many times you vote? Does it even matter who you vote for? I mean, who wants to put some money on Kaysar NOT coming back to the house? It's obvious, I think...and of course, that's fine by me.

They HAVE to bring Kaysar back. I've been on about 10 different Big Brother sights and Kaysar is FAR ahead. From what I've heard from people who have the live feed is that CBS is spinning this BIG TIME ! Apparently, Ivette is completely racist and evil and they never show it. She was making comments about Kaysar and Bin Laden and how he should blow himself up. I've been told to definately watch the show this Saturday because there is an "altercation" with Janelle and Ivette and Howie and Beau.

What a huge relief that there are many like me that will stop watching the show if Cappy (!!) comes back or his group of rats, as Howie calls them, continues to take over.
I love that everyone is voting for Kaysar and hope he is returned to the house to once again, turn it upside down!

Take note, CBS...bring back Eric and watch the viewership decline to the same low rating as Eric's popularity vote. Kaysar is the truest game player in Big Brother history, save Will Kirby from Season 2, and America WANTS HIM TO FINISH THIS GAME. Anyone that's been watching the feeds since Kaysar's evictions knows how utterly boring and useless this house is without the superior intellect and game-playing abilities of the one and only Kaysar.
VOTE KAYSAR, and get the game back ON!

The fanaticism that Eric has inspired should make everyone shiver. If we ever needed proof that riding on a fire truck in New York does not make one a superhero, look no further than Eric.
Let's put Kaysar back in the house and watch him work.

WHAT A RELIEF TO SEE THE POPULARITY RATINGS FOR BB6!! I THOUGHT THAT MOST AMERICANS WEREN'T SMART ENOUGH AND/OR UNBIASED ENOUGH TO APPRECIATE KAYSAR AS I DO. I MOURNED HIS LOSS WHEN HE WAS NOMINATED FOR EVICTION EVEN BEFORE THE VOTING TOOK PLACE. HE HAS TO COME BACK!!! THE SHOW WILL BE INSIPID WITHOUT HIM, AND I PROBABLY WILL ALSO STOP WATCHING, AS OTHERS HAVE SAID THEY WOULD.

I think the majority of the public has it right.
Kaysar is coming back and I could not be more pleased.
He is an awesome game player and he really shows the public that your normal reality show stars are not always idiots with the exception of Maggie and Ivette. LOL
BB6 fans keep voting Kaysar to return to the house if you want this game to get interesting.
Great job CBS on a show well done :) Pamela

Surely CBS is not stupid enough to think the American voters won't know this contest is rigged if they bring back Eric and tell us he had more votes!!! Bringing Eric back to the house would ruin the game. If they rig this contest we'll never believe the whole game is not rigged. What do they talk about in the diary room??? How much information is being passed along??? If they bring Eric back I will not only say good-bye to bb but I may have to second think the whole CBS line up!!!
