Holy cow. 317 Dodge Chargers were used throughout the entire series run of The Dukes of Hazzard as the famous General Lee. That’s a lot of cars, Mabel. Unfortunately, that number has dwindled to 19, none of which were taken much care of after the show aired, by which I mean they were left on a studio lot in the desert. Seventeen of the cars were purchased by fans back in 1991, so if you’ve got the patience and the money, the possibility of owning a genuine General Lee might not be entirely a pipe dream.
