She's due a few weeks before the SNL premiere, so it will be a short leave, but somebody is going to have to fill in for her on the show's Weekend Update segment. What cast member should fill in while Fey is out? Or can Amy Poehler handle it herself?

Honestly, I never really liked Fey (as a writer or a cast member). Maybe the opening of the new season will be a little better now that she won't be around?
Jimmy should come back for a short stint to do Weekend Update with Amy! I miss that guy. He should've stuck to doing SNL rather than making films.

I liked Dennis Miller, but IMO Norm MacDonald was the best there was at it. He never took it or himself seriously for a second, especially when he opened by saying: "I'm Norm MacDonald and this is the fake news".

Agreed. Norm MacDonald was great, and I always enjoyed Kevin Nealon's WU, even if it was pretty different. Utterly dry and played even more like a staid newscast than the Daily Show is--you really had to listen to get the joke.

I think that Kenan Thompson or Seth Myers would be Tina Fey's subsitute co-anchor for Amy Poehler.
