This idea is so great I can't believe no one thought of it before. Sharp has created a television set that shows two different programs at the same time. People sit at different angles to view their show and use headphones to listen to the sound.
This cuts down on fights over the remote control, but probably decreases the amount of time we talk to each other at night. I mean, it will be weird to be watching the same TV as the person next to you, but you can't talk to them about the show. We're a few feet away watching the same set but we have headphones on and won't be talking to each other. Weird.
