XM Satellite Radio is hoping to expand into video with the acquisition of WCS Wireless (though that has not taken place yet). The plan is in its early stages, but it could be interesting to see what services XM would have to offer. XM's competition, Sirius, has also announced plans to launch a video service, so consumers will have to sit back and see which offers the better deal. I just hope I can get video in my car so I have something to watch while waiting for the ambulance after accidentally crashing my car because I was watching video. I wonder if XM and Sirius plan to compete with DirecTV and Dish Network in the future.
