I watch Katie and the Today show. Just because the media says there is a controversy doesn't mean there is one. Any show that has been number one for so long is going to have competition sooner or later and that should, in the end, make both shows better.

I prefer watching Katie and The Today Show, but only because I think Katie Couric is one of the lamest excuses for a journalist I've ever witnessed in my life. Now, I realize watching The Today Show (or any other morning news program) isn't meant to be the height of respectable television journalism, but it's near impossible for me to watch Katie interview anyone without gagging. Maybe it's the pointy shoes. Maybe it's that half-cocked smile you just know is fake. But mostly it's because she cannot conduct a single interview without asking how the person feels..."Your daughter was found dead and buried in the neighbors' back yard...How does that make you feel?"
Ugh.
And yet, I am compelled to watch the Today Show for that 30-45 minutes each morning while I'm getting ready for work. The indignation I feel towards Katie Couric perks me up more than a half-pot of coffee.

Katie Couric has no journalistic values. I cannot believe some of the questions she asks her guests. Diane Sawyer is a class act and as far as I am concerned nobody does as good a job as she does along with Charles Gibson.

It is pulled back and her head is funky shaped and so unattractive! Never again please!
