I guess I'll get the comments started... I have an HDTV, HD PVR, and have almost every HD channel offered from my cable provider.
I thought very hard a year or so ago about getting VOOM but just couldn't justify the price.
I found that once I started watching programming in HD it was very hard to watch anything in standard def. In fact I hardly watch FOX at all because of it (no local Fox HD), except for maybe 24. Although, sometimes I find myself downloading an episode in HD and watching it again.

I have HD, but not an HD PVR. I'm considering getting my cable company's offering (COX) but I'm loathe to give up my beloved Tivo, and I'm not willing to pay both monthly fees.

We have two HD sets, and an HD-DVR. We get all the HD channels we can through cable and our CBS over air. We don't have WB or UPN digital as of yet. I am still taken aback by the clarity of the HD picture - last night on Six Feet under, there was a shot through the door, looking outside and I was just amazed at the beauty of the trees and the sky. The sound ain't bad either! I look forward to seeing more HD/Digital coverage here.

i have 2 HDTV's - primary is pioneer elite 610HD with comcast HD PVR attached. secondary HD is by Advent (don't remember model #) and connected to that TV is a Tivo Series 2 and Microsoft Media Center PC (Dell model) and while the standalone Tivo can't do HD, I only use OTA HD through my Media Center PC on this TV. as it's a secondary TV in my bedroom I didn't see the ROI of 'renting' another HD PVR from comcast for an additional $10/month. so in my bedroom i have 3 comcast digital cable boxes (hidden of course) - one connected to Tivo and the other two to my Media Center PC...

I am still stuck in the old fashioned world of standard definition with a 24" Sony Wega. I figure within a year or so I plan to get a 50" or so DLP HDTV. I don't know if I will replace my TiVo with some sort of HD DVR as well.

Yes, we purchased a Sony LCD HDTV this past Spring. Love it! Comcast's Motorola HD Tuner/DVR is pretty good, though I am very eager to see what comes from the Tivo/Comcast partnership later next year. HD programming quality is very good, though I'm hoping to see more quantity. The second tier channels need to get into the game too. Nothing so far is available from cable channels like Comedy Central, MTV, HBO (original programs), WB/UP or USA.

I have HDTV... Love it except that I get most of it via Direct TV which has such a tiny amount of channels and now are asking those of us that already are paying $200+ for the NFL Sunday ticket to now pay an additional $99 to get the games in HD (which was part of the package last year at no extra cost).
Also DTV's picture quality is not true HD as they have compressed the bandwidth to accomdate the channels. They are about to launch new satellites and change the compression they use which I understand will require everyone to get new equipment which and read it (Mpeg4)...
Being an early HD subscriber can be painful.

No, we don't have a HDTV. The cost is to much right now, I do have plans to buy one in a year or two, a 17 inch LCD with HDTV Ready. I don't have a HD PVR neither.

No I don't have a HDTV or HDTV PVR but my cable does offer 20 HDTV channels. My next TV will be an HDTV and I will buy it with a HDTV PVR, hopefully buy Christmas time this year.

I don't have one yet, the main reason being that I expect to be moving within a year. So, while I could afford a tube HDTV now, I'm not sure I want to move a 150+ lb beast with me. So, I'm trying to save for a nice LCD, but that'll be a while for the grad student.

I have HDTV and became such a fan of watching sports in HDTV that I started my own site dedicated to the subject.

Once you start watching HDTV on a daily basis, SD is painful to watch.

I have had a HDTV for 6 years, and a tuner for 5 of those. I had been recieving HD over DirecTV since they first started broadcasting, and OTA HD now for 2 years. All of this in tiny town in the midwest.
Last year I upgraded to a Samsung DLP, and DirecTV HD Tivo HR10-250 PVR (one of the first in the nation), and have thoroughly enjoyed both purchases. We recieve nearly all our national OTA channels in HD now, and hopeing for more D*TV expansion soon with the new sats going up.
I also have an ATI HD tuner card in my PC running on Windows Media Center 2005 recording shows OTA that I can archive off to DVD when I wish... and for those times the two tuners are busy on the HD Dtivo. Our bedroom has a Samsung HD Directv reciever but its not a PVR...

I have both an HDTV and a HD-DVR. I hardly ever watch anything on the SD channels, so I'm definitely interested in hearing about HD programming.

We've got a Sony 36" HD set downstairs and I have a Zenith 27" HDTV in my room. Both are fed by Comcast digital cable boxes, but neither have HDDVRs.

I will get an HDTV when there are more HD channels and the prices drop a little more. Most likely I will wait until they force us all to buy them or not watch TV.

Yes, we have HDTV with the Comcast MicrosoftTV PVR so we can timeshift in HDTV as well. We didn't go all out and buy a really expensive set, we waited for a special price to make the plunge. This was over a year ago at least.
