Why oh why do the powers that be keep casting this woman? Have they not learned that sometimes bad press is absorbed by the public as just that? Bad. And besides, if NBC couldn't make the premise work with a likeable Alicia Silverstone, what made UPN think they could make it fly with Shannon Doherty....
