Tim Goodman over at the San Francisco Chronicle is one of the best TV critics, and today he has a list of the shows that are "on the bubble," the shows that are right on the edge of being cancelled. Besides Arrested Development, the show that I'm most interested in is Eyes, the ABC drama on after Alias that is currently on the bench for May sweeps. This is an interesting piece, because it reveals that Eyes creator/producer John McNamara actually sent three e-mails to TV critics about the network's handling of the show during sweeps, saying in part: "Letters may not help but if there is a large, riled fan base, well, they certainly couldn't hurt." Join the fight to save this show, will ya? I can't bear another damn reality show on my TV screen. On the bubble: which shows might not return

That Arrested Development might get pulled is a crime.
In terms of The Office, however, I think the reasons it might get pulled is NOT because it was too subtle, but because (a) it was shuffled around a lot, and (b) it was on opposite Survivor and Amazing Race, two shows that loyal fans are NOT going to abandon. Especially when they have ascreaming boss all day. NBC should have positioned The Office against some other, less fan-rabid shows and let it built a following. IMHO, it was not viewership that killed The Office; it was NBC.

What is it with the idiots in ABC? Eyes = good. No eyes = bad.
Just ask blind people. Ta-boom.

I've got the first five episodes of Eyes stored on my Replay; now I'm wondering if I should bother watching any of them, as I don't want to get hooked on a great show only to see it cancelled. As for Arrested Development, if Fox pulls the plug, and I'm going to take drastic actions. That's right: a strongly worded letter from the desk of R-Bro!!

I've never seen "Eyes", but I'm willing to bet it is better than "Dancing with the Stars". Still, ABC has done pretty well this past year, adn they have two scripted shows to thank for it (Lost and Desperate Housewives). Maybe they've finally seen the light.
As for "Arrested Development", It would be a sin to cancel it and leave "American Dad" on the air. And that is coming from a big "Family Guy" fan. Then again, I don't know if any network has the record that Fox does when it comes to cancelling good shows.

Unlike FOX and their rediculous history of cancelling good shows, at least ABC, most of the time, listens to their audience. I hope that they change their minds and keep 'Eyes'. Truly a good show with interesting plots. Plus Tim Daly, in my opinion, is the perfect lead in the show. As for Arrested Development, I don't watch the show, but FOX should keep it on the account that they won an Emmy. Hopefully House, Family Guy and American Dad remains on the air.

After watching the Season Finale of Jack and Bobby, it looks doubtful that it is coming back. They did a fairly good job of wrapping it up so that we saw what happened to everyone in the future. It is a shame that this show didn't last. It was so good. Maybe another network can pick it up and get it some better ratings.

Shame on ABC. What a disappointment that Eyes has been cancelled. This is one show that had me hooked from the get go. Tim Daly is a wonderful actor that really carries this show and the rest of the cast mesh together to make it truly and completely interesting. They will probably replace it with another stupid reality show. I wish I had kept Eyes on my tivo.

The powers that be cannot be so stupid as to not bring back EYES. They put the show on opposite long standing Law & Order and highly rated CSI: NY then cancel it after a few weeks when it apparently doesn't do the numbers they want?!?!? That shows a total lack of vision. EYES is the first show that had me hooked from episode 1, it's a smart, witty, well written, well acted show
