Ira Glass is bringing National Public Radio to television. Showtime has ordered a pilot for a proposed TV series version of This American Life. That's something that might be rather interesting, but I don't know if Showtime would be the right place for it. What about Bravo or PBS? Another intriguing aspect of the Chicago Sun-Times article linked below is the fact that Glass actually pitched the show to the four major networks a couple of years ago and actually got two of them interested, but Glass turned them down. I want my NPR-TV!
