RSS fans out there have probably noticed a change today. Weblogs Inc. has added Google Adsense to the RSS feeds so that newsreaders now display an ad with every post. This allows companies like ours to make money off the content that is freely run on readers. Instead of allowing only headlines or partial posts in feeds, forcing readers to clickthrough to the full post, this allows us to offer better coverage (by paying more bloggers) and maintain the ease of use newsreaders provide. And of course, Weblogs Inc. is the first publisher to utilize Google Adsense in its RSS feeds.

Maybe it is just Opera, but I don't see any ads. I see a little bitty bit of text at the bottom of the RSS Feed (using Opera's superb builtin RSS reader) that says "Ads by Google" but that's it.
Go Opera Yay!!
