As
our overseas readers already know, American voters are idiots. I mean
American Idol voters are idiots. Constantine's exit shows how the top
reality show is truly flawed. We should be voting off our least
favorite. That way Scott would have gone home weeks ago. Constantine
faced what others have, voters thought he was safe so they didn't
vote. He also picked a bad song. That doesn't mean he isn't one of
the top three talents on the show. It is painfully obvious that Bo,
Carrie and Constantine are at the top and Anthony, Vonzell and then
Scott are at the bottom. In six months let's see who has a career:
Scott or Constantine. That leads me to the real problem with the male
rock singers on this show.
The
band is not a rock band. There is not the proper mix of
amplification, guitars and drums going on. Constantine sounded better
than Nickleback or whatever crap band sang that song (it was a bad
choice either way). I suggest we all boycott the show until Scott,
Vonzell and Anthony are gone. Then I'd be happy to vote between
Carrie and Bo.
And
I must say, in the middle of all the crap being said about Paula, it
was amazing to watch her (seemingly) genuine reaction to Constantine
losing and hugging his mom at the end. The thing is she shouldn't be
sad. Constantine could easily be the male lead in any Broadway
musical. He could front any Third Eye Blind-esque rock band. He'll do
fine. This show sucks, but I guess I have to watch how it ends.

Constantine has always been a pouting hack. Granted, Scott and Anthony are bad and need to go, but Constantine should have been gone weeks ago, at least before Jessica, Anwar and Nadia.
And boycott the show until Vonzell is gone? Vonzell, unlike Scott and Anthony, has talent and personality. And she was ten times better than Carrie last night, who is more than lacking in the personality department.
Sinking to the level of a Simon-esque analogy, watching Carrie is like watching listening to her on the radio while watching paint dry. She is nothing but a voice, and when her voice falters (like last night) she is a complete bore. Ruben is more exciting to watch onstage, which is saying a lot when talking about a person who shouldn't stand upright without the support of a cane.

Scott should have been out weeks ago and vonzell right behind him. American Idol isnt fair and I think Constantine got put out not voted out because he has that record deal!

As far as Vonzell goes, I think she is fantastic. But my personal opinion thinks Constantine would have and could have won this year; and it would have been a very close race between him and Bo!

I am sick to my stomach. Yes, I know Constantine will be a huge star but it makes no sense that Scott (a no talent, arogant, girlfriend beating man) gets to stay. What truly sickens me is realization that the American people are idiots. Who are these people voting for him? I don't think I can watch any longer.

I am really disgusted at the elimination of Constantine tonight. Scott Sabol should have been eliminated weeks ago. He is no more an American Idol than Sadam Hussain. Sabol is an egotistical slob. The other four finalists deserve to be there, Sabol does not. The only reason that I will watch the remainder of the series is to see how Bo does. Constantine, Bo, Anthony, Vonzell and Carrie were very deserving of making it to the end. Scott Sabol was not. I am disappointed in the voting public. If Sabol wins I will never watch the show again.

I have always loved to watch American Idol, until tonight. I just couldn't believe it when I saw Constantine get kicked off. I thought for sure Scott would go, after all he sings out of key everytime. Constantine has been a favorite for many since day one. Maybe the show should take an average of all the shows and not go by each showing. Everybody has a bad day now and then, that doesn't mean they are not worthy to win.

Mr. Thomas almost hit the nail on the head. Constantine is the true all-around talent on the show. However, I do think Vonzell has an amazing voice and lots of personality. I think he's right on about American Idol voters thinking Constantine was safe.....bad call. I know I will be voting as much as I can in the weeks to come, and it sure won't be for Anthony or Scott. America needs something different, not the run of the mill pop "Idols" of the last few seasons. GO BO !

I can not believe that there is anyone out there who would vote for Scott, he is anything but an American Idol, do we want kids looking up to someone who beat up his childs mother? In addition, he can't sing! Constantine was the best thing to ever happen to AI and since he is gone, so am I!

Agreed Jay. While Constantine can perform, his voice was horrible compared to let's say Vonzell who has an excellent voice and can perform. So for you to say that she should be in the bottom three instead of Constantine makes me proud to be an American.
P.S. Let me know when Constantine's band ever has anything that outsells that crappy band Nickelback. The lead singer of Nickelback would own Constantine on any stage.

I am a big fan of constantine. I was so devastate to hear that he is leaving the show. I think the Americans should be more alert and aware of the talents they have in the show. If there is any such 'wildcards', I hope constantine will be back to the show.

The judges have always made a big deal about the contestants being themselves, not trying to be something they're not, etc. Would someone please tell Scott that he is white, not black?! Anyway, why am I surprised? The American Idol voting public has gotten the winner wrong all 3 years so far, so why would this year be any different? I've watched each season, but this time, if Scott or Anthony wins, I'll never watch the show again. Never.

Talk about my jaw hitting the floor! I cannot fathom how Scott is still in the running. He has no stage presence and no diversity. Anthony is young and has no sex appeal. I love Vonzell's personality, but I thought she was way off key in the beginning then pulled it out. Have to agree with the earlier post. Carrie has a great voice, but nothing else. She stands and shakes her hips side to side but that's it.
I thought for sure it would be Bo and Constantine in the finals. The song Constantine picked did him in.
Definitely won't enjoy watching the show as much anymore. If Scott gets by another week, I may give up on it all together.

I'm a big Bo fan, but Constantine was talented and extremely fun to watch; neither the type that you go to make a sandwich while they're on, nor the type that you like but are constantly biting your lip from the fear of possible vocal derailment during every performance. Scott was also a rarity, but of the opposite stripe: both untalented and IMMENSELY unlikeable. i found myself watching him and rooting for him to mess up, and he was, indeed, rather reliably like watching a train wreck.
Again, i *get* the concept of a lovable loser, but could some scott fan please elucidate just what there is about this guy that is anywhere near lovable (let alone not utterly repugnant?) I'm just not understanding the pity votes, here. Thanks.

i like how everyone always talks about how great everyones personallity is.(except carrie according to these people)when you only get to see them sing a 4 minute song.none of them have personallity yet. at least no where nere as much as kelly clarkson did.but in the end who cares what order they get kicked off just as long as carrie wins. she is a way better singer than anyone else on the show.even when she has a cold which she had tonight she way out sings everyone else.
